Pine Lake Marina is situated 5km outside of Sedgefield in the heart of the Garden Route National Reserve. The resort is in a stunning location on the shore of Swartvlei Lake, offering fantastic views of the lake and sailing against a backdrop of magestic mountains.
The resort has a number of accomodation options from options for between 2 and 10 people. Waterfront units are avaible for those that really do want to sit back and enjoy the water from the comfort of their own chalet! All accomodation units come with TV, lounge area, kitchen, patio and the South African essential - a braai.
Pine Lake are kindly supporting the event and there is a discount for sailing families attending. When booking accomodation please reference the event for the discount to be applied.
When you are staying at Pine Lake Resort there will be plenty of activities to tempt you, that's if you can pull yourself away from watching the racing. The resort has swimming pools, tennis courts, table tennis, bikes and pool tables available. For those that want to explore the lake there are kayaks, SUPs, motorboats and dinghies for hire. There is also a spa and a gym.
Birdwatching trips on the lake can be arranged and there is the Golf Sedge Links Club, 2km away where guests can enjoy an 18 hole round of golf at special rates.
Further information of other nearby attractions and things to see and do before or after the championship will be posted soon.
