RS Tera Worlds 2013
Quick update on the 2013 Worlds
Well we are starting to see entries build for the RS Tera World Championships 2013, we already have entries from Spain, Holland, South Africa and Great Britain, and we are looking forward to receiving entries from Italy, Czech, Denmark and Germany.
Whilst we have 2 entries already from South Africa, we have been informed by the South African Class Association that there will be 13 South African sailors at this years event, the RS team are talking to their dealers around the globe to encourage even more countries to be represented this year.
We are nearly there with securing the International Jury, just looking for one more International Judge, we have members from Holland, Germany and Great Britain so far, and we have also secured an Olympic standard race officer in David Campbell-James, who ran the 49ers at the London Olympics and a top class scrutineer in Ken Kershaw, who was an official measurer at the London Olympics.
Our sponsors for the event so far are Ferry to.com as primary sponsor, Zhik who are donating the majority of prizes, Hawk Marine Products and Hyde sails who are also generously committing to spot prizes.
There is of course room for more, so if you have any contacts or indeed you would like to be part of the championship then please get in touch.
Please remember that the cost of entry increases from 1stMay, so please get your entries in.
