NOTICE OF RACE
Venue..Wormit Boating Club
- Date..training day 31st August , 10.00am start, 3.00pm finish.
- Racing Sunday 1st September..11.00am start.
Saturday 31st August…
10.00am briefing and on water for 10.30am. Training day with shore and on water coaching with Mark Barron and club coaches. Will finish approximately at 3.00pm with lunch break . Open to all sailors who can tack, gybe, capsize and bring up boat and sail round a course. We will split sailors into a more and less experienced groups to offer best coaching.
Saturday evening..BBQ and games at club. Payment at club on day.
Sunday 1st Sept….
11.00am first start, 3 races with 2 to count. Lunch break after second race This event is part of our club junior open regatta day. Pro and Sport rigs will sail in one class on handicap basis.
At present we should have minimum of 20 Sport and Pro Tera’s on start line for both days from Scotland, be great to see visitors from elsewhere in Scotland and North of England for the first Scottish Area RSTera championships.
Entry is £10.00 per boat for weekend or just Sunday racing day. Entries open until
- 10.00am Saturday 31st August
- 11.00am on Sunday 1st September.
Various camping,B&B and members houses available for any travellers over the weekend near the clubhouse. Also Dundee and St Andrews are very close.Please see robbie if require help.
Wormit is on south Fife side of the River Tay facing towards Dundee, with sailing between the road and rail bridge crossings on the Firth of the River Tay.
Rules will be run under the Racing rules of sailing, but with on water coaching while racing.
All boats must have some sort of sail numbers on there sails.
Prizes for Sport , Pro and overall winners.

Event open to all rs tera pro and sport sailors under 18 years old in one class on 31st aug and 1st sept.
INSURANCE
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of £2,000,000 per event.
