RS TERA NORTHERN SERIES

With 3 of the 4 rounds now having taken place a record number of 54 young helms have taken part in the series to date. The final meeting takes place at South Windermere Sailing Club on Saturday 13 July and whilst the leading positions may be pretty well sorted out there is plenty of opportunity for others to still improve their positions within the overall rankings. With 21 boats out at Derwent Reservoir’s meeting the competition in the Pro fleet really hotted up with Ana Paterson moving from her Sport rig to the larger rig. There was some great competition on the water and we look forward to seeing more battles at SWSC. Alistair Scott is in first place overall at the moment, hotly pursued by Eleanor Whittaker and Charlotte Scott. In the Sport fleet Henry Rastrick looks pretty unbeatable, particularly when showing the boat speed he had at Derwent. He heads the Sport fleet at the moment, hotly pursued by Paterson (counting results from previous events in her Sport rig), Tom Storey and Peter Owen. Rastrick’s younger brother, Jamie, moved himself up the rankings to 5th with a 2nd overall at Derwent. So it's all to play for in the Lakes in July - come and join the Terafic fun which is the Northern series! Photo credits Jennie Clark
